This March marks one year of offering our riders an easy way to purchase fares on the go — inside the Transit app! In March 2023, we officially launched this new feature inside our already widely popular trip planning app, Transit. You — our riders — quickly adopted this improved option and it shows in the numbers.

Success in Numbers

• Number of tickets sold averaged 62k a month in 2023.
• Riders purchased three times as many tickets in Transit in the first year compared to our first year with the UTA GoRide app.
• Adoption of the Transit app continues to grow, with 2023 downloads increasing by 105% over 2022 downloads.
• You use the “GO” feature of the Transit app so much (thank you!) that you got us ranked 19th out of over 1,000 transit agencies across the globe that use Transit.

• Got friends in town? Buy tickets for multiple people with just one purchase.
• Always have your monthly pass available via your phone.
• Grab a group pass with ease! Our Group Pass allows up to four people traveling as a group, unlimited access to multiple modes for the whole day for just $15.
